My week in iPhone photos.

This is from my birthday last Sunday. We went to the photobooth at the mall :)

Olivia watching The Lion King and eating her popcorn like a big girl.

On Tuesday, Clarissa and Ashlyn came over with the kids. Olivia and Isaiah played in her room.

While the babies hung out with me on the floor.

Me and the babies.

Clarissa got married Thursday night, so Friday we had a little get together at her apartment to celebrate.

For Father's Day, I had bought Luis tickets for the Maroon 5 and Train concert. Yesterday was finally the day. This is me and one of the Train trailers, just because we didn't see the Maroon 5 one :)

We had lawn seats, but they were actually pretty good! We left after Maroon 5 because neither of us care for Train all that much and we wanted to get home to Olivia.

Hope everyone has an awesome week! :)

Twenty three.

My twenty third birthday was Sunday. I celebrated with Luis and friends Saturday night. We decided to do something casual and just go to dinner. We had intended to go to BJ's in Pearland, but had forgotten about it being a fight night, so when I called to make reservations they said they had been booked for weeks. I called a few more places and no one was taking reservations, so we finally had to settle with Joe's Crab Shack, but it was delicious anyway!

One of my oldest bff's Brooke and me.

Cassie is one of my very best friends that I met at Paul Mitchell.

My sister-in-law Maria.

Me and my baby daddy.

Luis and his nephew Daniel.

Lance (Cassie's boyfriend), Luis, and Daniel.

One of my newest best friend's Clarissa and her husband Art.

Maria and her boyfriend Jose.

Cassie and Lance.

They dressed me up as a fairy.

And I had to sprinkle fairy dust over everyone...

My mom friends that keep me sane! Clarissa, Ashlyn, and me.

We spent my actual birthday doing the things we love to do. We woke up and went to a late breakfast and a local buffet. Then, we took Olivia to see the Lion King. She loved it! She has never sat that still during a movie. We visited my family and went grocery shopping and that was it! It was a great birthday and I officially feel old :)

Catching up: 22 months, fall, life.

I haven't blogged in forever! Life has been a little crazy lately. Good, but crazy :)

First and foremost, Olivia turned 22 months on September 5th. I cannot believe my baby will be 2 in a month and a half. Omg! She's growing up way too fast.

She's so much fun and incredibly hilarious. Everything I would have ever wanted in a daughter. She's so smart that it blows my mind. She talks non-stop. She knows all of her colors now and is always pointing them out. When we're in the car I constantly hear, "Mama, yellow! Mama, orange!" She repeats her ABCs and can count to 4 on her own. She still loves animals and babies and loves to put hers "night night." She's always telling us she's "tarred" (scared) of something. She also has a hitting problem that I can't seem get out of her. She's started using the potty sometimes, but not often enough as far as I'm concerned! Ha!

We are so ready for fall around here. This summer's heat has been miserable! I'm getting into the season early with fall scented candles, hearty meals, and baked goods. Probably not such a good idea for the waist line, but at least cooler weather means more enjoyable jogs! I can't wait to take Olivia to the pumpkin patch and put up fall wreaths and scarecrows.

Most people don't know yet, but I've recently become a stay at home mom again. I'm going back to school for a career that fits my schedule as a mother better. I just couldn't handle working weekends and evenings anymore. We took Olivia out of daycare and plan to enroll her in a pre-school come January and I'll be going to school during the time she's there. This is honestly the happiest I've been in a long time and I know I'm making the best decision for my family. Everything just feels "right."

I thought I had more to say on these topics, but I guess this will just be a short post. Until next time! :)
