Family Pictures!

About a month ago, the whole Leija family got together for family pictures. We also took some individual family shots as well. I am so pleased with how ours turned out. I needed some good ones to document this time as a family of four and I also really needed an individual of Lola since I didn't have any professional ones of her. (We used Joshua Johnson Photography and our locations was Out Under the Trees in Angleton.)

Disney on Ice

Out of the blue on Saturday morning, Luis announced he wanted to take Olivia to see Disney on Ice. Within 15 minutes, we had tickets purchased and were getting ready.

We decided not to tell Olivia where we were going until we got there. She was going crazy not knowing.

^^ Car selfies while waiting on Luis ^^

^^ Lola's favorite part was the food, as always. ^^

We almost didn't take Lola because we weren't sure if she would stay interested the whole time, but she actually did great and was so into the show. It was so stinking cute watching her sing along to Let it Go. Olivia had the time of her life. She's at an age where she knows every Disney princess and the background story. I'm not gonna lie, I teared up a few times while watching her face light up at different scenes.

I'm so thankful for a husband that does his best to make our weekends about our children.

Sweet and Sassy!

Olivia's idea for a birthday "party" this year was just a girls day with a couple of her closest friends. Pretty brilliant, actually.

Sofia, Kaileigh, Chloe and their mamas (and Ashlyn) joined us at Sweet and Sassy. It was Olivia's very first time and she loved it! It's such an Olivia place. The girls were pampered with manicures, pedicures, and makeup- practically every 5 year old girls' dream.

After the pampering, we headed to the Cheesecake Factory for a late lunch because it's "fancy" and Olivia loves all things fancy.

It was such a fun day celebrating my big girl!

Weekend fun.

Saturday we celebrated our niece Skylah's birthday. My girls had fun playing with other little girls instead of the boys they're normally surrounded by. ;)

Sunday was spent at the Texans VS Eagles game! Ashlyn and Daniel invited us to attend with them and I think it was all of our first professional game. I must say, I was a little surprised at how mean some of the Texans fans were. Luis had popcorn thrown at him multiple times and was told to go "f his puppies." Awesome. But it was a really fun experience and I'm so glad we got to go.
